Palantir Foundry Engineer
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area / Northern Virginia
Work Schedule: Hybrid; candidates should be available to support onsite in the DC Metro Area 2–3 days per week or on an as-needed basis

Position Overview
IntelliTech is seeking a Palantir Foundry Engineer to support mission-critical programs leveraging Palantir Foundry to enable data integration, analytics, application development, and operational decision support. In this role, you will work closely with engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to develop scalable pipelines, build robust Foundry applications, and support data-driven workflows that deliver meaningful mission impact.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, Pipeline Builder, TypeScript, Python, and Foundry’s application development ecosystem, along with a strong understanding of data modeling, pipeline design, and enterprise software delivery. This role supports the full solution lifecycle, from requirements refinement and technical implementation through testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Palantir Foundry pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data from a variety of enterprise sources.
- Build modular applications, workflows, and user-facing solutions within the Foundry ecosystem using TypeScript, Python, and Foundry AIP.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to refine requirements, design data models, and support ontology mapping.
- Support the development of scalable and maintainable solutions that improve data access, decision support, and operational visibility.
- Assist in designing and implementing data integration patterns and transformation logic within Foundry.
- Support testing, debugging, validation, and performance tuning of Foundry pipelines and applications.
- Leverage Git-based repositories and version control best practices to manage development efforts.
- Participate in stakeholder sessions, working groups, and platform workshops to demonstrate Foundry capabilities and gather feedback.
- Contribute to Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Document technical designs, workflows, application logic, and development processes to support sustainment and knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing solutions in Palantir Foundry or similar enterprise data integration and analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Pipeline Builder, data transformation workflows, and Foundry application development.
- Experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines, data integration solutions, or analytics applications in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Foundry AIP, ontology mapping, data modeling, or data visualization within Foundry.
- Experience supporting mission-oriented analytics, logistics, operational, or other large-scale federal data environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD workflows, and modern software delivery methodologies.
- Experience developing user-facing workflows or operational applications within Foundry.
- Experience working in Agile environments supporting enterprise software or analytics platforms.
- Exposure to data governance, metadata management, or enterprise data architecture concepts.
- Top Secret clearance or eligibility is a plus.
Interview Process
Video interview required and may include a technical assessment.

- examples of pipelines, workflows, or applications they have built from scratch
- data or mission problems their solutions helped solve
- their experience working with large datasets and enterprise data environments
- their proficiency with Python, TypeScript, and Foundry development concepts
- their availability to support work in the Washington, DC Metro Area

At this time, IntelliTech will only consider candidates who currently possess an active Secret clearance or higher. Clearance sponsorship is not available for this role.
